The Satara region of Maharashtra enjoys sufficient wind speed for several months of the year and is thus a good location to setup a wind energy plant.
ACC now has a total wind power capacity of 19 MW — 9 MW in Tamil Nadu, 7.5 MW in Rajasthan and 2.5 MW in Maharashtra.
This is another significant step in ACC’s pursuit to generate clean renewable environment-friendly energy, as part of its sustainability agenda.
