Renewable power company Lekela said on Monday it has reached financial close on its Taiba N’Diaye wind power project in Senegal which will be the country’s first utility-scale wind farm.
The wind farm will be located 70 km north of Dakar.
It will have a capacity of almost 160 megawatts and be fully operational in less than two years, Lekela said in a statement.
