According to him, it is planned to install ten wind turbines with a total capacity of 25 MW by the end of 2010. The second stage foresees the installation of another ten wind turbines in the first half of 2011. It is planned to increase the number of wind turbines to 48 by late 2012, bringing the station’s total capacity to 120 MW.
It is planned to use wind turbines with a capacity of 2.5 MW each, produced according to the technology of German company Fuhrlander.
In addition, the company is studying the option of the independent production of wind turbines under a license of Führlander. The company representative said that the new wind station would be located near the existing Novoazovska wind power station.
Novoazovska wind power station was passed to Vitroenergoprom for a 50-year concession. The completion of the station is financed from the special fund of the national budget.
