Spain’s Banco Santander SA (SAN) and its largest wind-turbine supplier Gamesa Corp. Tecnologica SA are planning a 242-megawatt wind farm in Mexico.
The companies applied for environmental permits for the El Sauzal wind farm in the state of Oaxaca.
The companies said in March 2014 they would develop as much as 500 megawatts of wind power in the state over the following three years.
